For pets who need a little more

Smart tools for veterinary teams. Trusted guidance for pet carers. So every pet is understood and gets the care they deserve.

For Veterinary teams

Ellakin is designed as a guided workflow. We help you capture better histories before the consult, surface what matters, and deliver consistent next steps. What this includes:

  • pre-visit workflows tailored for the visit (senior care, behaviour and more)

  • micro-education embedded throughout the intake (so clients understand what you’re asking and why)

  • clinic-branded outputs your team can use immediately: take-home summaries for clients, and follow-through between visits with clear home-care guidance and optional check-ins

About Ellakin

For pets who need a little more and the people who love them.
Ellakin exists for the pets whose care doesn't fit neatly into a twenty-minute consult. The senior dog who can't make the jump into the car anymore, the cat whose anxiety has started to shape the whole household's day, or the pet nearing the end of a long, well-loved life. These pets need more time, more nuance, and more continuity of care than a standard appointment allows. Their families need somewhere to turn between visits: for information they can trust, support that meets them where they are, and a sense that someone understands what they're navigating.
Ellakin is built to make that kind of care possible for the families living it, inside the clinics they already know and trust.
Founded by a vet, for the work vets are already trying to do.
llakin was founded by Dr Vicki Brown, a small animal vet based in Canberra. After years of working with families through behavioural complexity, chronic illness and end-of-life care, Vicki kept running into the same gap. Clinics wanted to give these pets and their people more, and families needed somewhere to turn between visits, but the time, tools, and structured resources to make that happen rarely existed.
Ellakin is the platform she wished existed. For pet carers, it's a growing hub of vet-led education and practical tools, so you can make sense of what you're seeing and feel more confident about what comes next. For veterinary teams, it's a set of clinically grounded forms, programs, and resources that fit into the clinic's existing workflow, so they can deliver the kind of careful, unhurried care they want to give and these pets deserve.
